An agent can list, create, update, and delete WooCommerce products, and list orders, add order notes, or change an order's status, all through the same REST layer as the wc/v3 API.
Content Egg abilities, governed through the Bridge
An agent can search Content Egg's connected affiliate, image, video, and coupon modules, read a post's attached products and block layout, and validate or preview a page's blocks before it is saved; on the free build every one of these operations is a read or a dry-run check, with no ability to write or publish content on its own.

What has to be true first
Needs WordPress 6.9 or later with Content Egg active and its Agent Access setting turned on. Reading and searching modules, products, and blocks requires the edit_posts capability, reading or changing post-scoped block data requires edit access to that specific post, and reading plugin-wide settings and module configuration requires manage_options.
- Content Egg's Agent Access setting (`cegg_agent_access_enabled`) must be turned on by an administrator; it is off by default.
- 18 additional abilities (product/coupon/image/video insertion, module and settings updates, feed creation, shop connection, post creation) exist in the code but only run on the paid build (`Plugin::isPaidBuild()`); the free wordpress.org build never registers them.
A note on the count below
The plugin defines 35 abilities in code (17 free, 18 pro), matching the directory's total of 35, but the free wordpress.org build only registers the 17 free-tier ones via a hard tier check in AbilitiesRegistrar::registerAbilities(); the pro-tier ones never appear on this build.

How to switch these on
Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.
Install Content Egg and Agent Abilities for MCP
Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. Content Egg registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.
Open the Other plugins screen
In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.
Enable one ability at a time
Every ability from Content Egg starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.
Connect as a least-privilege user
Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions
Does Content Egg work with the Bridge?
Conditionally. Content Egg only registers its abilities in the core Abilities API once the site operator turns on its Agent Access master switch (off by default); once on, the free build's 17 abilities sit in the core registry and the Bridge can wrap them like any other plugin's.
What has to be true for Content Egg's abilities to register?
Content Egg's Agent Access setting (`cegg_agent_access_enabled`) must be turned on by an administrator; it is off by default.. 18 additional abilities (product/coupon/image/video insertion, module and settings updates, feed creation, shop connection, post creation) exist in the code but only run on the paid build (`Plugin::isPaidBuild()`); the free wordpress.org build never registers them..
Does Content Egg need anything special to work with the Bridge?
Needs WordPress 6.9 or later with Content Egg active and its Agent Access setting turned on. Reading and searching modules, products, and blocks requires the edit_posts capability, reading or changing post-scoped block data requires edit access to that specific post, and reading plugin-wide settings and module configuration requires manage_options.

Verified from Content Egg's own free wordpress.org code on 28 September 2026, not from its marketing claims. Not every ability listed here has been run end to end against a live site.
