An agent can read the site's recent email-delivery debug events and failures without opening the WP Mail SMTP admin screen.
Kit (formerly ConvertKit) abilities, governed through the Bridge
An agent can read Kit account resources (forms, tags, products, landing pages), read and update per-post and per-category newsletter settings, manage newsletter content blocks (forms, form triggers, broadcasts, products, member-content logins) embedded in a post's content, and read or update the plugin's general, broadcast, and content-restriction settings.

What has to be true first
Needs WordPress 6.9 or later for the Abilities API. Reading or updating plugin-wide settings requires manage_options; reading or writing a post's Kit settings or content-block occurrences requires edit_post on that post; reading or writing a category's Kit settings requires edit_term on that category; the four resource-list abilities require edit_posts.
This count can change
These ability names are put together by the plugin's code when it registers them, so we worked them out from that code. Check the exact names on your site's Bridge screen.

How to switch these on
Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.
Install Kit (formerly ConvertKit) and Agent Abilities for MCP
Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. Kit (formerly ConvertKit) registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.
Open the Other plugins screen
In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.
Enable one ability at a time
Every ability from Kit (formerly ConvertKit) starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.
Connect as a least-privilege user
Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions
Does Kit (formerly ConvertKit) work with the Bridge?
Yes. Every ability registers unconditionally into the core Abilities API on wp_abilities_api_init, independent of whether Kit's own bundled MCP server is turned on, so the Bridge always discovers the full set; the plugin's readonly/destructive/idempotent flags are declared as private properties re-declared in each subclass, which PHP does not let the shared get_annotations() method see, so every ability's effective annotation resolves to readonly false and destructive false regardless of what the subclass intended.
Do Kit (formerly ConvertKit)'s abilities register automatically?
Yes, unconditionally, once Kit (formerly ConvertKit) is active. Nothing else has to be configured for the Bridge to discover them.
Does Kit (formerly ConvertKit) need anything special to work with the Bridge?
Needs WordPress 6.9 or later for the Abilities API. Reading or updating plugin-wide settings requires manage_options; reading or writing a post's Kit settings or content-block occurrences requires edit_post on that post; reading or writing a category's Kit settings requires edit_term on that category; the four resource-list abilities require edit_posts.
More Email plugins
An agent can pull the plugin's mail debug log to see recent send successes and failures without opening the admin screen.
GoSMTP
ConditionalOnce enabled, an agent can read the site's SMTP configuration and mailer list without ever seeing stored credentials, and fire a test email to check deliverability.
Verified from Kit (formerly ConvertKit)'s own free wordpress.org code on 28 September 2026, not from its marketing claims. Not every ability listed here has been run end to end against a live site. Plugin authors change their code, so a name, a capability, or a condition can be different in a later release. This site is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Kit or Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Bridge Kit (formerly ConvertKit), keep the same control.
Every ability starts off, is scoped to the user you connect, and is written to the same audit log as core. Turn on only what you need.
Off by default. Capability checked on every call.
