An agent can list, create, update, and delete WooCommerce products, and list orders, add order notes, or change an order's status, all through the same REST layer as the wc/v3 API.
Dokan abilities, governed through the Bridge
An agent can look up which vendor a connected user is, pull one vendor's sales and balance summary, list the marketplace's vendors, and check a vendor's pending withdrawal requests.

What has to be true first
Dokan Lite needs WooCommerce 10.9 or newer active alongside WordPress, because it piggybacks on WooCommerce's own ability loader rather than registering on its own. Reading a vendor's stats or withdrawals needs the site-specific Dokan capabilities dokan_view_sales_overview and dokan_manage_withdraw (store admins always pass); resolving the current vendor and listing the approved vendor directory need no capability at all.
- WooCommerce 10.9 or newer must be active, since Dokan appends its ability classes through WooCommerce's own woocommerce_ability_definition_classes filter rather than registering directly

How to switch these on
Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.
Install Dokan and Agent Abilities for MCP
Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. Dokan registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.
Open the Other plugins screen
In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.
Enable one ability at a time
Every ability from Dokan starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.
Connect as a least-privilege user
Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions
Does Dokan work with the Bridge?
Yes. Dokan registers four vendor-scoped abilities in its own class files and hands them to WooCommerce's public woocommerce_ability_definition_classes filter, so they land in the core Abilities API registry the bridge scans with no MCP-specific flag required.
What has to be true for Dokan's abilities to register?
WooCommerce 10.9 or newer must be active, since Dokan appends its ability classes through WooCommerce's own woocommerce_ability_definition_classes filter rather than registering directly.
Does Dokan need anything special to work with the Bridge?
Dokan Lite needs WooCommerce 10.9 or newer active alongside WordPress, because it piggybacks on WooCommerce's own ability loader rather than registering on its own. Reading a vendor's stats or withdrawals needs the site-specific Dokan capabilities dokan_view_sales_overview and dokan_manage_withdraw (store admins always pass); resolving the current vendor and listing the approved vendor directory need no capability at all.

Verified from Dokan's own free wordpress.org code on 28 September 2026, not from its marketing claims. Not every ability listed here has been run end to end against a live site.
