An agent can list, create, update, and delete WooCommerce products, and list orders, add order notes, or change an order's status, all through the same REST layer as the wc/v3 API.
FluentCart abilities, governed through the Bridge
An AI agent can read store context and reference data, search and read orders, customers, products, subscriptions, coupons and the transaction ledger, pull revenue, product-financial and payment-schedule reports, and change order or subscription status, add order notes, refund orders, create or update customers, manage coupons and apply labels.

View FluentCart on WordPress.org
What has to be true first
FluentCart needs to be installed, active, and have its MCP module switched on in Settings on WordPress 6.9 or later. Every ability's permission_callback checks one of FluentCart's own shop-role permissions (orders/view, orders/manage, orders/manage_statuses, orders/can_refund, customers/view, customers/manage, products/view, coupons/view, coupons/manage, subscriptions/view, subscriptions/manage, labels/manage, reports/view, dashboard_stats/view), so only a connected user holding the matching FluentCart role capability can use each ability; a bare WordPress administrator with no FluentCart role assigned is refused.
- The MCP module must be turned on in Settings, Features and addons, MCP (stored as the mcp option, off by default); abilities are not registered at all while it is off
- FluentCart Pro pushes additional abilities through its own fluent_cart/mcp_loaded action and fluent_cart/mcp_ability_names filter, so Pro-only tools only exist when Pro is active

How to switch these on
Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.
Install FluentCart and Agent Abilities for MCP
Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. FluentCart registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.
Open the Other plugins screen
In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.
Enable one ability at a time
Every ability from FluentCart starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.
Connect as a least-privilege user
Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions
Does FluentCart work with the Bridge?
Conditionally. AbilitiesRegistrar registers 33 abilities under the fluent-cart category with wp_register_ability, but the whole registration only runs when the store owner turns on the mcp module in Settings, which ships off by default.
What has to be true for FluentCart's abilities to register?
The MCP module must be turned on in Settings, Features and addons, MCP (stored as the mcp option, off by default); abilities are not registered at all while it is off. FluentCart Pro pushes additional abilities through its own fluent_cart/mcp_loaded action and fluent_cart/mcp_ability_names filter, so Pro-only tools only exist when Pro is active.
Does FluentCart need anything special to work with the Bridge?

Verified from FluentCart's own free wordpress.org code on 28 September 2026, not from its marketing claims. Not every ability listed here has been run end to end against a live site. Plugin authors change their code, so a name, a capability, or a condition can be different in a later release. This site is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, WPManageNinja or FluentCart.
