What has to be true first

FooGallery must be active with WordPress 6.9 or newer. Reading abilities check the edit_foogalleries capability (or edit_post for a specific gallery), media search checks upload_files, and creating or updating a gallery checks create_foogalleries or edit_post, with publish_foogalleries checked additionally when the status is set to publish.

The 8 FooGallery abilities

Grouped by what each one can change. Every one starts off until you enable it.

How to switch these on

Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.

  1. Install FooGallery and Agent Abilities for MCP

Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. FooGallery registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.

  2. Open the Other plugins screen

In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.

  3. Enable one ability at a time

Every ability from FooGallery starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.

  4. Connect as a least-privilege user

Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions

Does FooGallery work with the Bridge?

Yes. It registers eight abilities through wp_register_ability unconditionally once WordPress 6.9's Abilities API is present, covering galleries, layouts, attachments, and media search.

Do FooGallery's abilities register automatically?

Yes, unconditionally, once FooGallery is active. Nothing else has to be configured for the Bridge to discover them.

Does FooGallery need anything special to work with the Bridge?

FooGallery must be active with WordPress 6.9 or newer. Reading abilities check the edit_foogalleries capability (or edit_post for a specific gallery), media search checks upload_files, and creating or updating a gallery checks create_foogalleries or edit_post, with publish_foogalleries checked additionally when the status is set to publish.
