The registrar builds 45 CRUD abilities (5 actions across 9 resources: courses, sections, lessons, memberships, access plans, students, quizzes, questions, certificates) plus 22 hand-written abilities for enrollments, grades, quiz attempts, orders, certificates, and progress, for 67 total, all built from literal resource names in the source rather than runtime data. This is well above the directory's count of 39; the directory figure could not be reconciled from the code and this record reports the code's true, resolvable total instead of matching it. These ability names are put together by the plugin's code when it registers them, so we worked them out from that code. Check the exact names on your site's Bridge screen.
