What has to be true first

Needs WordPress 7.0 or later, PHP 8.1 or later, and the plugin active. Access to every ability runs through the plugin's own permission manager rather than a single WordPress capability, so who can query analytics data depends on how that permission manager is configured, not directly on manage_options.

  • Google Search Console credentials must be connected for the four GSC abilities to register at all
  • A Google Analytics 4 property must be connected for the five GA4 abilities to register at all
  • A Microsoft Clarity project must be connected for the four Clarity abilities to register at all
  • Cross-platform comparison and summary abilities need at least one of the above connected before they register
  • Custom-prompt abilities (one per admin-created saved prompt) only register when at least one platform has credentials configured, and only exist at all once an admin has saved a prompt

This count can change

16 fixed abilities across GSC (4), GA4 (5), Microsoft Clarity (4), and cross-platform comparison (3) tools were confirmed in the full source, each gated on that platform's credentials being configured. Separately, a Prompts class registers one additional ability per admin-created custom prompt (stored in the specflux_mac_custom_prompts option, empty by default), only when at least one platform has credentials configured; those ids are per-site and not enumerable from source, so the plugin as a whole is dynamic even though the 16 listed here are fixed.

How to switch these on

Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.

  1. Install Specflux Marketing Analytics Chat and Agent Abilities for MCP

Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. Specflux Marketing Analytics Chat registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.

  2. Open the Other plugins screen

In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.

  3. Enable one ability at a time

Every ability from Specflux Marketing Analytics Chat starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.

  4. Connect as a least-privilege user

Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions

Does Specflux Marketing Analytics Chat work with the Bridge?

Conditionally. All confirmed abilities are readonly and register with no meta.mcp.public gate, so the Bridge can expose them once enabled, but every group only works once the matching analytics account is connected: with no Google Search Console, GA4, or Microsoft Clarity credentials configured, the abilities still register but return no usable data.

What has to be true for Specflux Marketing Analytics Chat's abilities to register?

Google Search Console credentials must be connected for the four GSC abilities to register at all. A Google Analytics 4 property must be connected for the five GA4 abilities to register at all. A Microsoft Clarity project must be connected for the four Clarity abilities to register at all. Cross-platform comparison and summary abilities need at least one of the above connected before they register. Custom-prompt abilities (one per admin-created saved prompt) only register when at least one platform has credentials configured, and only exist at all once an admin has saved a prompt.

Does Specflux Marketing Analytics Chat need anything special to work with the Bridge?

Needs WordPress 7.0 or later, PHP 8.1 or later, and the plugin active. Access to every ability runs through the plugin's own permission manager rather than a single WordPress capability, so who can query analytics data depends on how that permission manager is configured, not directly on manage_options.
